Manual ball valve works by rotating the spool to make the valve flow or occlusion. It works as follows:

Opening process

1. In the closed position, the ball is controlled by the mechanical pressure of the valve stem.

2. When the handwheel counterclockwise, the stem is the reverse movement, the bottom of the angular plane to disengage the ball seat.

3. The valve stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pin in the stem spiral groove so that the ball begins to rotate without friction.

4. Until the full open position, the valve stem to the limit position, the ball rotation to full open position.

Closing process

1. When the valve is closed, the handwheel is rotated clockwise, the stem begins to fall and the ball starts to rotate away from the valve seat.

2. Continue to rotate the handwheel, the valve stem is embedded in the spiral groove on the role of the guide pin, so that the stem and the ball simultaneously rotate 90 degrees.

3. Close, the ball has no contact with the valve seat in the case of rotation of 90 degrees.

4. At the bottom of the handwheel, the angle of the bottom of the valve stem is mechanically wedged into the compression sphere, so that it is tightly pressed on the valve seat to achieve complete sealing.
